Went out to feed this morning ..................

And found one of the does kidded during the night ......

A buck and a doe ..... the buck is the lighter color, the doe has the dark red head

Whenever I open the gate to the front pastures the Dorpers run out

to the Olive trees looking for olives, bitter unprocessed olives.

I looked everywhere for this glove yesterday and today.....

I guess I dropped it yesterday when I unlocked the gate 

to go get the mail, and the dogs did not find it and chew it 

up like my old ones.

Two more of the Boer goats are due soon

How now Brown Cow ..............

 and 2 black ones, all young heifers.  My cow is at my daughter's with a new heifer calf, she brought these three here yesterday to mow one of my pastures.

and when I went out to feed this morning another single lamb, nice looking little ewe

I took these pictures tonight while feeding / doing chores, these three pictures are all within a few minutes of each other, just shows you how the clouds look so different as you stand and  turn around.  This is looking east to the Sierras, bet they are getting snow up there now.

and looking due north ... do you see the rainbow?

and turning to look at the west this is where the sunshine was coming from.

Dollar checking the Mule for mice in the hay

 I defaced my kitchen / back porch door ....... I got tired of

taping notes on the door .......

So ... after sanding inside of the panel, I painted it with Blackboard

spray paint .....................

 

Hang in there girls, the shearer will be here the end of March ...

I keep looking for udders on the girls here since they will be

the first to start lambing, these are the 2 year old ewes, ram is first one 

in the group, need to move him out soon, ahhh ... another pen to build.

I cannot find my cookbook to find my Corn Chowder recipe so not going to participate in today's Souper Sunday this week, I know it's here somewhere, LOL, will keep looking, hopefully I will find it by next Sunday.

But I took some pictures yesterday on one of the backroads to a friends house, and found this "fence" at one of her neighbors.  Some people are so artistic with old rusty junk.  I have several items that are in this fence, I just need to learn to weld I guess.

The pigs went off to Freezerland on Friday along with a Dorper wether, so down to 29 Dorpers, until I came home yesterday and one ewe came in from top pasture slower than the rest of the sheep ... she had  a "newbie" ram with her  .......
