Today was Hug a Sheep day but since there was a conflict with today also being the Handweaver's Guild Sale 50 miles away it left little time for hugging. I did get lots of pictures of some really nice spinning wheels that I will put in another post.
But I did take out some Fruit Newton Peach and Apricot cookies to the sheep. For some reason my camera is not co-operating. Between holding the cookies, and the camera and trying to keep Ollie (black ewe on right) from stealing the whole package of cookies I missed a lot of shots. This is Brandy, she loves cookies and hugs, on her left is Daisy, Daisy would grab her cookie and then run back away from the fence to eat it. Hopefully camera issue will be resolved with just charging up the batteries.
Hmmm, looks like someone has found some eyeliner, getting ready for Halloween????
And his sister too?
Been a long day, hope everyone had a good day and hugged a sheep (or even a goat)
I know I will sleep good tonight.
Morning, so cute, could you hug yours for me please, Francine.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though cookies were a perfectly acceptable alternative to a hug! :)
ReplyDeleteaww. i bet they do love those fruity cookies!
ReplyDeleteThe goats seem to be wondering where THEIR cookies are.....
ReplyDeleteLove to see the pictures of your animals!
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of your animal pictures. I truly admire your life with all of your sheep. It is a blessing to get to read your blog. I would never have thought you would give a sheep or goat cookies. Hope your week is blessed.
ReplyDeleteI am not going to even let mine think there might be such thing as fruit cookies :-o. That's all I need haha. Happy Hug a Sheep (or goat :-) Day!
ReplyDeleteNo sheep around here to hug, but my furry dog made a good substitute. Overcast, windy, and a few drops of rain here, any luck at your place?
ReplyDeleteI hugged everybody on Saturday! The llama even let me in for a short squeeze - and only because she was sure I had apples in my pockets...
ReplyDeleteIf I had a sheet I would have hugged it! Very cute pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteYou give your sheep fig newtons?! I wanna be one of your sheep!
ReplyDeleteDoes pulling a goat out of a fence count for "hugging" a goat / sheep? If so, I did.
