Just to let you know I am still alive. Google error will not let me post on my computer.  I bought a tablet several months ago and am a slow learner when it comes to new things. Lots of new lambs and baby goats but camera died too.
So I now have a new camera too, now I just need to figure out how to load pictures here and I will be all set.

If you have heard there is a drought in California it is true, very little rain this year and what little grass grew in my pastures is now gone. Weatherman has predicted the next 3 days will be over 100 degrees.

I have been able to follow a few blogs, hope to catch up with the rest of you soon

  1. I wish I could have sent you some of the cold wet snow we got over the weekend! I have an Eye-Fi card for my camera and as I take photos it instantly loads them on to my iPad. I can then easily load them to Photobucket and use them on my blog. Stay cool and safe friend :-)

  6. I'm afraid this is only the beginning. I feel like we are heading into an awful summer and I dread the heat this week.
Hope you get through the computer woe's.
    Take care and be safe.

  8. Thanks for stopping by my blogs. You asked about the green stuff growing in the midst of our drought. I did a post about it. At our place it's weeds, Mustard weeds mainly, they tumbled and dropped their seeds last fall and look what we got. Up on the mountain, I'm sure there is water in the ground still. Sorry about your computer glitches.

  9. Thanks for your comment! As you noticed, I haven't been on my (or anyone's) blog in a couple of months. I got caught up in a Farmgirl group and a couple of Gardening groups on Facebook and just haven't had time. I hear ya' about the drought. We could use some rain too. We were in Flagstaff last weekend and the smoke from the Slide fire was terrible in the afternoons.
Good to hear from you! :)
