Lambs are so much fun to watch ...............

Playing King (Queen) of the Mountain (Rock)
Whenever there are a group of lambs they are so much fun to watch, the brown strip across the picture is actually a dry creek bank, a group of lambs will start running along the top, down inside the ditch back up to the top to the fence.  Then they will all pile up at the fence and the last one will spin around and run back to the fence at the driveway, and repeat, repeat, repeat.  Thought I would try this morning to get a video since there were 5 or 6 of them running the creek.  By the time I got my camera, put on my shoes, walked all the way out there they were thru running and playing on the rock.  This ceremony goes on with every group of lambs every year, just something they do naturally.  Maybe one of these days I will get a video.

  1. I'll bet that is fun to watch! How inconsiderate of the little buggers to be done playing by the time you got out there! LOL!!

  2. Yes, they are such a hoot! I love to watch them romp and stomp... farm babies are the best.

  3. I love it when they start the lamb races - with the occasional joyous bounce. Even mine will leap for joy every once in a while - for no apparent reason. We could learn a lot from lambs, couldn't we?

  4. Hey there - Thanks for your visit! I've been looking around here and you have some beautiful sheep. I love to watch the lamb and goat babies play - they're hilarious.

I read back that horse slaughter is now legal. How did I miss that? Obama just snuck that one in I guess. There's something that's just not right about horse slaughter. Horses are here for riding and for beauty, in my opinion. That's just not right. I hope they get loads of backlash on that one.

I'm following now, so I can come back to see what's going on here!
