Finally ..........................

Really there were clouds in the sky, but no rain, won't get any serious rain for awhile yet, but hey, the temperature dropped by 20 degrees in one day,  Yippeeeeee.  I am going to survive the summer of 2012 after all.

Those clouds made for a very interesting sunset.

Even Dollar and Bella were happy for the cooler temps, and felt like playing, Bella was using Dollar for a chew toy until I moved to take picture, Dollar is watching me to see if that movement meant we were going back outside again.

Patio is getting covered with leaves will soon be time to get my blower/mulcher toy out from storage, and add mulch to planters.

  5. What a dramatic sunset - you know what they say, "Red sky at night, sailor's delight." But I think you would prefer, "Red sky at morning, sailor's take warning," as that would mean rain...

ps you won the Day 3 giveaway!

  8. BEAUTIFUL!
Temps here are in the 40's ... a bit to cool for this time of year, but it beats that awful summer heat. We can now get outside and do some work.
I am sure that all the animals are enjoying the cooler temps.
    Have a great week.

  10. First, thank you so much for being there for us, Samson and me, this rather awful week. I meant a lot. I agree so with the idea of surviving the summer of 2012. It's really cold here at night now, in the 20s and 30s. We had three days of clouds, even thunder, but no rain. I think I felt like one drop on my nose when we were outside the other day. I feel renewed and made a pledge to not complain about being cold this winter.
